Top Things to Do in Kokomo This Summer

If you plan on spending your summer vacation in Kokomo this summer, you should still have your vehicle checked and, if necessary, serviced, before you head out to any summer events. If you are in the market for a new vehicle but had planned on holding off for a bit, change your plans and stop by Kokomo Auto World to test drive the vehicle you are interested in – it would be so much nicer to travel to events, even local events, in a brand new car, truck or SUV.

Farmer’s Market

On Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. the Kokomo Downtown Farmer’s Market will be open at the corner of Mulberry & Washington Streets. The farmer’s market is open until 1:00 p.m. every Saturday through October 10. For more information visit

Indiana H.O.G. State Rally

The Indiana Harley Owners Group State Rally will be held July 23, 2015 through July 25, 2015 in Kokomo. Even if you don’t have a bike, stop by to see all of the different bikes. The rally will feature escorted rides, bands, a parade and more. Register to take part and learn more at

First Friday “Band Night”

On August 7, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Kokomo, the First Friday “Band Night” will be held. There will also be free self-guided arts tours in the downtown district. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Winding Creek Bluegrass Festival

From Friday, August 21, 2015 through Sunday August 23, 2015, the Winding Creek Bluegrass Festival will he held at 100 South 9980 West, Russiaville, which is about 10 miles west of Kokomo.
